Flybe is a low-cost European regional airline with a particular focus on domestic flights in the United Kingdom. It was originally known as Jersey European Airways, before becoming British European, and finally Flybe in 2002. Its headquarters are located in Exeter, with two additional hubs situated in the cities of Birmingham and Manchester, as well as operating bases in Aberdeen, Belfast, Cardiff, Doncaster, Edinburgh, Exeter, Glasgow and Southampton. In addition to these hubs, Inverness, Jersey, London and Hannover are also focus cities.
Flybe's fleet numbers over 75 planes that are a mixture of jet and propeller aircraft. Liverpool, Belfast and Paris are among some of the most popular Flybe flights. The airline has agreements with Air France, Aer Lingus, British Airways, Air India, Emirates, Cathay Pacific, Etihad, KLM, Finnair, and Virgin Atlantic. The company is not a member of an alliance but does take part in the Avios frequent flyer program.
